Vintage Matka Wooden Pot

These authentic water pots possess a unique vintage appearance and are Indian antiques, with a history spanning 40-50 years.

With their rounded profile, a beautiful raw finish & individual character, they make a great piece to display dried foliage or are just as effective used as empty displays. These unique pieces each have their own markings, grain and character, complete with charming imperfections. Available in two sizes to group & create a unique feature or display throughout your space.

As with all salvaged & one of a kind items, variations will occur in grain & tone of timber as well as characteristics of each piece. If you have any specific requests or requirements please leave them in the notes at checkout.

Equally as effective styled with some dried florals, foliage or left empty for display. The spout allows room for a thin vase or glass that we would recommend filling with water & sitting inside this pot if being used with fresh florals, but please be careful of spills as this could mark the raw timber finish.
Place on a table, console, shelf or bench-top, these pots are so versatile and can be used in any room of the home.

Dust with a dry cloth or feather duster as required. Avoid prolonged exposure to spills or liquid as these pots have a raw finish and are not waxed.
